US Mint 90% Silver Coins from Circulation

$1000 face value bags of 90% silver contains approximately 715 troy ounces of silver!

In the 1960s, the United States government passed a law that eliminated Silver as the underlying exchange for one and two dollar bills. By 1965, the government had ceased minting 90% Silver dimes, quarters, and half-dollars for circulation. As a result of the change in Silver content, the 90% Silver coins quickly faded from regular circulation.

Silver 90% coinage remains an investor and collector favorite, both for the collectable aspect and the value that the silver content holds. These bags have been carefully accumulated and Bullion Direct screens all 90% bags for non-silver dates.

Please be aware that some weight variation is acceptable based on the circulated quality of this product.

Some modern proof 90% silver coins struck by the United States Mint may be included.
